Resources on Hebrews
In 2011, I taught the book of Hebrews to the Youth Sunday School class at Calvary Baptist Church. Over 23 lessons, the youth explored the message of Hebrews: looking to Jesus, persevere in the faith because God’s wrath on our sin is satisfied only in Christ. In the upcoming weeks, I will post my resources on Hebrews here.
As with all of my posts, I hope that these new resources on Hebrews will help you to “set your mind on things that are above.” Specifically, my encouragement to you is the main argument of Hebrews: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted” (12:1-3).
